The Transformation Journey

This journey is one that brings about the ability to live life with freedom, peace and joy, no matter what is happening in the world or in your life. It is the path I chose many years ago, although, I didn't know that initially, for I just wanted t stop the pain.
During 2018, I began training for my second career as a Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) practitioner (my first career was in engineering and management). I was drawn to this healing modality because it offers the opportunity to more quickly change the beliefs, thoughts and behaviours that cause so much pain and suffering in individual lives.
My own experience with traditional therapy, and as a spiritual teacher (primarily, 'A Course In Miracles' and 'A Course of Love') demonstrated to me how difficult it is to change thoughts, beliefs and behaviours, even when the desire for change is great. Much, if not most, of what runs us is coming from the unconscious mind, which is filled with cultural conditioning and traumatic experiences. When one of these is triggered, the fight or flight mode over-rides conscious mind control. The resultant thoughts and actions are often very destructive to our self and others.
After a year of working with RTT clients, and drastically changing the curriculum of my spiritual teaching, I have found more effective ways to facilitate the change which allows living life with much more peace, joy and purpose. Lasting change requires the willingness and commitment to follow a disciplined approach of self-awareness and inquiry. True self-acceptance leads to freedom just to be.
The corona virus pandemic gave me the extra incentive to share what I have been learning and experiencing. I share based upon my own experience, not theory.
